Firefox Personas

If you use the browser Firefox there is a way to change the top of the screen to something other than just the plain old gray. It is called a Persona. There are very many to choose from. You could also add the Persona tool to your toolbar. It's very easy and you can change your Persona without even going to the website! 

Background

If you do not like any of the backgrounds that Blogger offers, you can look for your own. All you have to do is search google for Blogger Backgrounds. One website that we looked at was Cutest Blog On The Block. It has a wide selection to choose from. I chose to keep my background because I really like how it looks.

Feedjit

Feedjit is a gadget you can put on your blog to tell you who is visiting your blog. It tells you how they got there, what time of the day, and a lot more. It is a good tool for businesses to tell who visits their blog.

Favicon

Favicon stands for "favorite icon." It is the little picture next to the web address. Before this I didn't know you could change it, but you can! On favicon.cc you can either create your own icon with a paint tool or you can upload your own picture. If you create one on favicon.cc you can save one you made and publish it to the public so other people can use it too! I created my favicon. 

Blogging on the iPad

Today we downloaded Blogger on our iPads. The applications on the iPad is user friendly. On the app you can add posts but that's about the only thing you can do. Unless you go onto the web versions you can't see the gadgets you added. Also, you can't edit your blog on the iPad. In my opinion I think the desktop version is better because you have full capability to post and edit very easily.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a free social bookmarking website. You can create a "webmix" and bookmark all your favorite websites. The bookmarks are known as tiles. You can also save a webmix made by other people that are of your interests. You can move all of your tiles around and rename them to whatever you would like. You can also share your webmix with other people if you would like. 

Blogger Gadgets

The first Gadget that I put on my blog was a Body Mass Index calculator. It asks for your weight, and height, and tells you you're BMI. It also tells you whether you are underweight, normal, or overweight. 

The second Gadget I put on my blog was a Birthday Calculator. You put in your birthday and tells you what day you were born on. I was born on a Tuesday. 

The third Gadget I put on my blog was a list of the top 20 things that are being searched on Google. The topics today are mostly about the Golden Globes and the NFL Playoffs. 

The fourth Gadget I put on my blog was a virtual animal named Lucy the Lion. It moves wherever you move your mouse. 

The last Gadget I added was a list of the top paid apps bought in the iTunes store. 

Blog Stats

All together I have 35 views of my blog. All of the views are from the United States. I have 30 views from Safari, three from Firefox, and one from Chrome.
